NICOR 17014AR-LED-ID 6" Airtight Remodel Housing


The NICOR 17014AR-LED-ID is the most popular housing for LED downlights in remodel applications for both residential and commercial use. The IDEAL connection that is included with the can allows for simple, snap-in connection with NICOR D-Series LED recessed and surface mount downlights. The 17014AR includes a one-year warranty and is IC-rated, damp location listed, and certified for direct contact with insulation. This shallow housing makes it easy to install even for ceilings that don't have much space.

Features
  • Since it is considered Airtight, the NICOR 17014AR is Washington State Energy Code approved. It restricts the exchange of air between ceiling plenum and heated or cooled areas.
  • A Molex to Ideal® adapter whip is available for the 17014AR-LED-ID, but it is not required for NICOR DLR56 LED Downlights.
  • The 17014AR can be used in 2" x 6" joint construction because of it's 5 3/4" height.
  • The NICOR 17014AR-LED-ID LED Housing includes three push-in wire connectors and includes several 3/4" knockouts since it is listed for for through-branch circuit wiring.
